Creating Life Long Memories…
The Vickery Meadow Festival of Lights began in 2017 as a celebration of the vibrant cultural diversity within the Vickery community. Since its inception, the festival has grown significantly, attracting over 3,000 attendees. The event showcases a wide range of hands-on activities for children, a ceremonial tree lighting, performances from local schools, music reflecting various cultures, and a variety of cultural foods from neighborhood restaurants.
This community-driven festival is organized by local nonprofit leaders and dedicated volunteers. Its mission is to honor the diversity of Vickery while providing the broader Dallas community with a chance to engage with and appreciate the rich cultural tapestry present in Vickery Meadow.
