EAGLE Scholars
EAGLE Scholars is made up of an ethnically and culturally diverse group of seventh through college students, all of whom are focused on a four-year college degree as their goal. The EAGLE Scholars program is designed to help our Scholars develop the skills they already have and acquire the ones they need in order to help them successfully navigate the educational system.

We meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM throughout the school year. We also have a summer program that you are strongly encouraged to attend.

You must be a rising 7th, 8th, or 9th grader to apply and live within the Vickery Meadow community.

Participate in a 30 minute in person interview at the Success Center
After the interview phase, our team will reach out to inform you if you have been accepted.
The Impact of EAGLE Scholars
The EAGLE Scholars program develops leaders by emphasizing Scholar voice and fostering genuine relationships, enabling each Scholar to have continuous input into the program and map the best path to success for themselves and each other. We challenge Scholars to step out of their comfort zone and explore new things, aiming to help them decide on the career that fulfills them the most. Our combination of individual family meetings, college readiness meetings, college visits, career workshops, and cultural engagement activities address each Scholar’s unique needs to be prepared mentally and academically to be a first generation college graduate. Engaging students from middle school through college in experiential learning and exposing them to new thoughts and ideas in order for them to internalize the notion that they are college material.
