Yulissa Beltran
College Success Coordinator
Yulissa is a first-generation college graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2021. Shortly after graduating, she discovered her passion for education through her work as a substitute teacher. This experience deepened her commitment to supporting young people in achieving their goals, regardless of their circumstances, and empowering them to see the many options available to them.
Her dedication to youth development led her to a role within a nonprofit organization focused on college and career readiness for high school seniors. This opportunity not only allowed her to guide students through critical transitions but also sparked her deeper involvement in the nonprofit sector.
Yulissa now brings her experience and passion to VMYDF, where she is committed to giving back to her community and helping as many young people as possible realize that higher education is within reach—with the right support and guidance.
One More Thing!
If I wasn't at VMYDF, I would be in a different country every month! I enjoy seeing new places and experiencing new cultures and experiences.
