Keaira Peeples

Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Keaira graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Go Razorbacks! With a passion for community engagement, outreach, and creating meaningful connections, she now serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator at VMYDF.

Keaira is passionate about being a bridge between people and resources. Whether it’s answering questions, connecting families to support, organizing impactful events, or simply being someone that others feel comfortable talking to, she believes community work starts with genuine relationships and showing up for people every single time. Her bubbly personality, strong communication skills, and go-getter mindset allow her to connect easily with people from all walks of life.

Before joining VMYDF, Keaira worked in healthcare, patient coordination, and community programming roles that strengthened her passion for serving others and helping communities thrive. She especially enjoys learning about different cultures and believes that the more we learn about one another, the better we can support each other.

Keaira hopes to continue growing in community engagement and public health while creating programs and experiences that leave lasting impacts on families and communities throughout Dallas.
